Sankritilaya is pleased to announce our next fall event - a spectacular dance ballet - Deiveega Vaahanangal - by Saraswathi Gana Nilyam School led by Kalaimamani Ranganayaki Jayaraman = on October 6th, 2012, 4 P.M. at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, San Jose. Sankritilaya is pleased to announce this dance ballet by Saraswathi Gana Nilayam School from Chennai. The Dance Ballet will be on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 4 P.M. at the Mexican heritage Plaza Theater, San Jose.

Announcing Vidushi S.Sowmya's Vocal Concert Tour of North America

Sankritilaya is pleased to announce the upcoming tour of North America by Vidushi S. Sowmya during this fall (Sept-November 2012).

The Bay Area Concert will be on September 23rd, Sunday, 4 P.M. at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, San Jose. Tickets are available from Sankritilaya website.

Smt. Rhadha's Classical Dance event on Aug. 19th, 2012

SanKritiLaya is pleased to announce an evening of classical dance by the eminent Vidushi Guru Smt. Rhadha on August 19, 2012 at 5.00 P.M. at Mission City Center for Performing Arts, (Wilcox High School), Santa Clara, CA. This event is a FREE Event for Sankritilaya Season Pass holders.

May 26, 2012 - Jugalbandi concert co-sponsored with BasantBahar

A unique north-south instrumental jugalbandi Vidwan Indrajit Banerjee on Sitar with Vidwan Neyveli S. Radhakrishna on Double Violin. The accompanists are Vidwan Subrata Battacharya on Tabla and Vidwan Somnath Roy on Gatam.

The concert will be at the Jain Temple Auditorium, Milpitas, and will start at 5.30 p.m.
